Darrell Scott is easily the most respected songwriter in both of the southern musical States, and blurs the musical line between the Nashville sound and the Texas sound. . He's a Texas hero, a Nashville hero and session player and a songwriting icon. With over 70 songs cuts by other artists, including huge hits for Garth Brooks, the Dixie Chicks, Travis Tritt, and Sara Evans, Darrell Scott is also an ASCAP Songwriter of Year, a Grammy nominee and has been a part of well over a hundred records as a session musician. And he can play anything you put in front of him.  This is Darell's Gruene Hall headliner debut and he'll be surrounded by a band that is as genious as himself. This will be one of the best shows of the year, so mark it on your calendar today! Gordy Quist (famed Band of Heathen member!) opens the show!

Get in the spirit of Thanks & Giving for only 5 dollars with this special Tuesday night show presented by KNBT 92.1FM Radio New Braunfels! Cover charge is only $5 or 2 cans (or more) of food. Proceeds benefit the SOS Food Bank of New Braunfels. Music starts at 7 pm with Adam Hood, followed by Walt Wilkins and his fabulous Mystiquesros!

Nov. 3rd  - Brian Keane  (1-5pm)   Brian  heads to Nashville in December for a run at the songwriting machine. Catch him at  his last Gruene Hall date for a while!

Nov. 15th  - Adam Carroll & Gordy Quist   (7-11pm)    Adam Carroll is well known and most respected in the songwriting underground because of his wit and his John Prine-ish way with a pen. He'll be joined by Gordy Quist, of Heathen fame but also with a great new solo CD out.

Nov. 17th  - Roger Marin  (1-5pm)  Former lead guitar player for Fred Eaglesmith is making a name for himself with his Canadian alt-country licks and lyrics. The Gruene Hall - Canadian connection continues.  Joining Roger on this Texas trek is respected performer Gordie Tentrees, who also plays on Nov. 18th  (12:00-3:30pm)
 

Sunday, Nov. 25th   (4-8 pm, free show)

Ponty Bone and the Squeeztones round out the 2007 Thanksgiving Weekend with enough zydeco and cajun music to dance the turkey dinners right out of ya. Come on out - it's a free show!  On another note, Squeezetone fans will notice the abscence of long-time bass player, Wash Hamilton.  Wash is home battling illness and needs your support.
