Larry Joe Taylor
************************
Jan. 8th (tickets at the door only)

His style is upbeat, down-home and magnetic.  His ability to engage spirited audience participation in sing-a-longs, limbo contests and untamed conga lines one moment and in their seats spellbound the next is what makes Taylor stand out among entertainers.  For every two or three of his good time, country, rocking tunes, Taylor delivers a poignant ballad about life and the passion and resilience required to get through it. Larry Joe Taylor is a songwriter first, but he's also an entrepeneur that runs an extremely popular music festival near Dallas, and he's one of the originators of the current fad of musician music cruises. As a matter of fact, he'll just be returning from his sold out 5th Annual Coastin and Cruisin Tour when he pulls into Gruene Hall on the 8th. Come join in on the fun!

!!!!     Jan. 14th  No cover - Dance to the cajun/zydeco tunes of Ponty Bone & the Squeezetones!

PAT GREEN
******************

        Jan. 16th      tickets

Pat Green was born in San Antonio and raised in Waco, Texas, the eighth of nine siblings. Green began his musical career when he was 18 and in college at Texas Tech in Lubbock. During those college years, Green started playing clubs and opening shows for other artists. In 1995, he put out his first independent record. And the rest is history. The Pat Green phenomena spread throughout Texas like a wildfire, spawning dozens of new musicians and inspiring music venues, publications and websites, all to give the new breed of "Texas" musicians a place to grow. While Pat Green's popularity belongs mostly to Texas, his 2003 release, Wave on Wave, debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard country albums chart, and his latest release, Lucky Ones, is receivinggood reviews. Join us as we welcome Pat Green back to Gruene Hall for 2 shows on Jan. 16th as part of the Pat Green Dance Hall Tour.  Tickets are available only from  patgreen.com.
