The Greencards

Quickly becoming one of the most popular bands on the Americana/bluegrass scene, The Greencards  return to their home base for a night of hot picking and singing. The Greencards (aka Gruenecards?) have been enjoying great success since the release of their new CD, Weather and Water, and their summer tour
with Willie Nelson and Bob Dylan. The 'Cards want everyone to be comfortable, so we are moving the tables up on the dance floor to create a more listening
type atmosphere. Come on out and show your support for the kids from England and Australia, who started out in our front room just a few years ago!
Tickets at the door only but get there early if you want a seat.
 

Gruene Hall at the  San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo - Feb. 3rd -19th

The Gruene Hall Performance Tent  at the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo is rolling again for the 4th year and this year presents 30 great bands from the Texas music scene. KNBT Radio New Braunfels is on board as a sponsor this year, and will be running buses down to San Antonio Thurs. Feb. 9th and Thurs. Feb. 16th. Check info below.
 

Lonestar Light’s Xtreme Bulls Bash at Gruene Hall @ the Rodeo - Following their show on Feb.3rd, the Xtreme
Bullriders will stop by the Gruene Hall Tent  from 10 to 12 pm for a meet and greet and autograph session, with the
Jason Allen Band on stage. Xtreme Bulls, the most intense bullriding competition in professional rodeo, is made up of the top
bull riders in the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association. These amazing athletes make the first stop of their "Ride Hard" tour
on Feb. 3rd & 13th at the San Antonio Rodeo. The 2 night event will be televised on ESPN2. Click here for info and airtimes.
 

Tickets are on sale now for the KNBT Rodeo Road Trip! We're packing the bus for 92.1FM College Nights, Thursday Feb. 9th and Thursday Feb. 16th.

Join the KNBT Staff for Cross Canadian Ragweed on Feb. 9th. For $50 you get a nice bus ride (this is a nice coach bus with bathroom), from Gruene Hall to the Rodeo, tickets into the rodeo and show, and then we bring you back to Gruene Hall. Meet at Gruene hall at 5pm for happy hour and then the bus leaves at 6pm.

Join the KNBT staff on Feb. 16th for our trip down to the Stars of Texas show with Jack Ingram, Charlie Robison, Cory Morrow, Kevin Fowler, and Randy Rogers. For $75 get a nice coach ride down to the rodeo, a chuck wagon rodeo style dinner, a meet and greet with Charlie, Cory, and Randy, and tickets into the Rodeo and show. Meet at Gruene Hall at 4pm for happy hour. Bus leaves at 5pm. Come party at the rodeo with the KNBT crew!

Leon Russell

Leon Russell played on, produced, arranged, and wrote some of rock and roll's most successful and important records and is one of the great all-time rock-n-rollers. His Gruene Hall performances are always one of our favorite shows of the year. He'll be joined by recent addition to the band, vocalist Jaime Babbitt, who can be heard singing back-up for everyone from George Strait to Courtney Love, and can be heard on countless TV and radio commercials. Adam Hood , a talented singer/sonwriter from Alabama, opens the show. Tickets now on sale!

Bruce Robison / Charlie Robison

There's a ton of good songwriters coming up when the Robison family comes to Gruene Hall in February. Each playing on separate nights, Bruce plays Feb. 18th and Charlie plays Feb. 25th. Lil' sis Robyn Ludwick, a good songwriter in her own right and following in the steps of her brothers, will open both shows. Advance tickets are available for Charlie's show and are on sale now. Get your tickets at the door for Bruce but get there early, as tickets will go fast!
