Brandon Rhyder Mar. 6th Sat., Mar. 6th (tickets at the door only)

The 2010 release by country rocker Brandon Rhyder "Head Above Water", is just out and when you hear his voice, you know he's a step above the rest. The new single, "Rock Angel" is already receiving tons of airplay and climbing its way up the charts.  Brandon doesn't write for a genre, but rather from the inspiration that he receives. With "Head Above Water," he takes Texas by the boots and reminds us in 12 tracks (with one hidden gem) of what keeps his head above water: love, honesty and his down to earth, basic country roots. Slicked up just enough for mass appeal but still remaining true to his roots, this CD is his best to date. The Deluxe CD/DVD edition includes a bonus DVD featuring a behind-the-scenes documentary about the making of the album. Pick a copy up at his Gruene Hall CD-Release show on Mar. 6th!

Bill Kirchen - Mar. 21st.....Mar. 21st, 1-5 pm (no cover charge!)

"Titan of the Telecaster" Bill Kirchen lives up to his billing as "a one-man living history museum of the coolest rock guitar licks ever performed. Former Commander Cody lead guitar player stretches to other planets when he plays and especially when he plays at the Hall.  "Bill Kirchen rules. It's just that simple. [His] no-nonsense diesel guitar attack, powered by great booming, bottom-heavy licks still covered with axle grease, is undoubtedly the real thing, scattering scorching guitar runs in all directions, it's all immediate, in your face and more than a little dangerous.” Austin American Statesman.
